PLEASE NOTE: This course is also available as an Instructor Led Class, Introduction to Application Development with IBM ILOG ODM Enterprise V3.4 (WB335), and also as an Instructor Led Online Course, Introduction to Application Development with IBM ILOG ODM Enterprise V3.4 (VB335). Please note this option does not require any travel. NOTE: THIS IS AN ONLINE SELF-PACED VIRTUAL COURSE. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS FOR THIS COURSE. Self-paced virtual courses provide the same deep technical content as our classroom courses, but allow you to learn on your own schedule. You can stop and start a Self-Paced Virtual class as needed during the 60-day access period. There is no live instructor for this course, so it may not be appropriate for students who require the guidance of a live instructor. In such cases, students should consider the alternative versions of this course: Classroom delivery: Introduction to Application Development with IBM ILOG ODM Enterprise V3.4 (WB335) Instructor-led online delivery: Introduction to Application Development with IBM ILOG ODM Enterprise V3.4 (VB335) Course Overview: This 2-day instructor-led course teaches students how to create basic IBM ILOG ODM Enterprise applications that can be used as prototypes, or as starting points for more complex applications. It also gives team members who are not directly involved in development an overview of ODM Enterprise, so that they can collaborate effectively with those who develop and deploy complete ODM Enterprise applications. ODM Enterprise is a configurable and extensible platform for building optimization models and using them to generate customized planning and scheduling applications. These applications allow users to compare multiple scenarios and perform "what-if" analysis. Through a combination of instructor-led presentations and lab exercises, students learn the concepts, architecture, components, and procedures necessary to develop and deploy basic applications in a single-user environment. In the lab exercises, students follow a single business problem through the stages of development and deployment. This course does not cover optimization modeling, and the lab exercises use an existing optimization model as a starting point. No programming skills are necessary for this course. Students interested in learning about complete application development and deployment for ODM Enterprise, including custom views, other Java extensions, and multi-user deployment, should take course Developing and Deploying Complete Applications with IBM ILOG ODM Enterprise Edition V3.4 (WB336) (VB336). That course includes and expands upon the content of this one. Students interested in learning OPL optimization modeling should also take courses (Learning Mathematical Programming for IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio V12.2 (WB340) (VB340)) and (Model Development with IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio V12.2 (WB341) (VB341)). Online Enrollment: THIS IS A SELF-PACED VIRTUAL CLASS. ONCE YOU REGISTER, YOU HAVE 60 DAYS TO COMPLETE THE COURSE.
