You will learn how to use the Systems Director Management Console (SDMC) to manage System p servers. You will learn about the major functions of the SDMC, how to access applications and tasks, customize views and data, how to access the SDMC command line, and run SDMC commands. A comparison to the Hardware Management Console (HMC) will also be provided. Hands-on Lab exercises will reinforce the lecture. This course provides lectures and hands on labs in a face-to-face classroom setting. The course is also offered in a live virtual classroom environment (ILO - Instructor Led Online) with hands-on labs SDMC Software and Hardware Appliance (ILO) (AX190).
