This hands-on course builds on the foundation provided by Administering Cisco Unified Communications Workspace Part 1: Basic (ACUCW1). You will focus on the advanced administration aspects of the Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) V6 and V7 server and client devices and take a look at Cisco Unified Presence Server (CUPS) V7. You will learn how to configure the system from scratch to provide a working dial plan with advanced features such as time-of-day routing, and you will learn how to manage a network with multiple sites using bandwidth management and call admission control tools to control calls between sites. You will gain an understanding of mobility features, including device mobility, extension mobility, and unified mobility (single number reach), used in networks with multiple sites. You will configure hunt lists, integrate a CUPS server, deploy the Cisco Unified Personal Communicator (CUPC) client and deskphone control, and learn about Cisco Unified Workspace Licensing (CUWL).
