The purpose of this classroom course is to discuss installation, configuration, and the administration of the DS5000 family of storage subsystems, Storage Area Network (SAN) in this hands-on course, emphasizing the use of IBM DS Storage Manager. You should exit the course with skills to configure a DS5000 storage subsystem and present storage resources to host servers. This course makes use of a DS5000 simulator for the lab exercises.
